Ok, let’s get into it…
What if you stopped, being drawn to the things that drag you down?
That’s actually what happened to me.
I didn’t become more disciplined. I didn’t get better at saying no. I genuinely stopped wanting a lot of the things that made me feel like shit.
I haven’t had alcohol in 7 years. I didn’t decide alcohol was bad or made a rule around it. I just stopped having it, because I felt like it.
I’d have one glass of wine and think…I don’t feel great. Then I’d raid the pantry for snacks because…wine. Then I’d sleep worse.
And eventually I just thought, “why am I doing this?”
So I stopped.
And alcohol, is just ONE example.
There are so many things I’m simply not drawn to anymore because feeling good and taking care of myself (mentally, emotionally and physically) is very high on my priority list.
I’m grateful to be alive.
I have deep respect for my body and for this life I get to live. And the more I’ve lived that way, the less interested I’ve become in things that take away from it.
That’s the part of health nobody talks about.
What if you didn’t have to spend your life resisting things?
What if you became so drawn to feeling good that the things that drag you down just… stopped being interesting?
Imagine how much potential that would open up for you.
Sonja
