People always ask how I’m so disciplined. The truth is, I’m not disciplined, it’s just my identity.
I don’t have moments where I think “fuck this day” and go through a McDonald’s drive-through. You couldn’t pay me to.
That doesn’t mean I never eat a cookie or enjoy dessert at a barbecue. Of course I do.
But it’s rare, because most of the time I don’t actually want it. I don’t like how sugar makes me feel. And that’s the difference.
Most women don’t really want to eat four donuts at night or polish off a whole pizza. They don’t want to drink wine and feel sluggish the next day.
What they want is to feel good in their body. Nourished, clear, strong.
That’s why my clients come to me. So they don’t have to white-knuckle it for their entire lives.
They want to become the woman who simply chooses what makes her feel amazing, who doesn’t need to “resist” because she’s no longer drawn to what drags her down.
It’s not about restriction.
It’s about identity.
And speaking of identity, that’s exactly what shifted for my client, Teresa, 53.
This was the first time she had ever invested in herself, and the moment she did, everything moved forward. She went full-throttle from day one.
She was so excited, and said, “Wow, who knew investing in myself could feel this exhilarating?”
Something in her subconscious got signaled: I am worth it. I deserve this. And that decision to invest at a high level changed her. As the saying goes, the transformation is in the transaction, and she embodied that instantly.
When you build your identity around feeling good, you stop fighting yourself.
You stop making health a punishment.
You stop approaching change from sacrifice, restriction, or willpower.
Healthy living has been my way of life for 25 years, and let me tell you, it’s enjoyable, it’s pleasurable, it’s freedom.
And it has nothing to do with the sacrifice-and-suffer approach the mainstream keeps pushing. There’s a much easier, more aligned way to live.
Pretty cool, hey?
