I’ve been writing a lot lately for my website and business, and was doing so at my coffee shop awhile ago, my topic was How to Become a Modern Day Superwoman.
And MAN…
I was feeling anything but, as some weeks are more challenging than others. Anyway, I was trying my best to BE peace and contentment. I was willing myself to be the calm in my own storm. And I guess it worked, as the woman sitting next to me tapped me on the shoulder and said “I just have to say…you look like meditation in motion.”
I giggled and looked at her adoringly letting her know I was doing my best to BE peace. She asked what I was writing about and what I did for a profession, I told her I was writing about redefining Superwoman for the modern woman and I was a Holistic Personal Trainer.
Well, Meant. To. Be.
She said she needed help with her health challenges and began to tell me her story, I let her know I could help her heal. She then told me she just retired from working as a psychologist, and was a writer, having 5 books published based on the father archetype, heroes and superman, psychology, spirituality, transformation, mytholgy, etc.
Coooool:)
We said our goodbyes and as she got up to leave, she turned back and said “I want you to have this. I was going to give it to a client but I want you to have it instead.” She handed me a copy of her latest book called Stone Child’s Father.
And that was a miracle in my day.
The significance of the book, which I won’t get into as that’s a whole other story, had so much meaning for me I was shocked, I got goosebumps, I kept looking up at the sky and saying “oh my goodness, universe you amaze.” I could help her heal and she could help me heal.
I share this with you because if you can trust you are supported by something as powerful as the universe, and demonstrate that trust by BEING peace and contentment in the middle of your storm, miracles will happen.
Have faith. Faith in spades. Faith in yourself. And faith in others.
In the middle of your own storm, BE the calm.
Live Inspired,
Sonja.
