Falling Off The Wagon, Gracefully.

Has falling off the wagon been a constant theme in your life?

How many times have you fallen off?  Too many times to count?  If you’re human, the answer is YEP!

On Monday morning as we were training, my client Claudette told me she was now ‘on the dry’.

“Sonja, I’m off wine, bread, and all sugars for a while!”

I said, whatever makes you happy, just make sure to eat some fruit each day so you don’t lose your mind from the lower carb intake.

Yep, I’m ready, she said!

I saw her the next day, and as we were training I said “How was Day 1 of your ‘no wine, no bread, no starches’ decision?”

Claudette replied, “Fabulous! I didn’t eat bread, just cake for dessert. And no wine, just the 2 oz I drank to finish off the bottle from the weekend.”

LOL! Not falling off the wagon, just gracefully dangling a leg off the wagon;)

The message here for you is, take it one step at a time. And take it one day at a time. I’ve had 10 years experience with clients, goals, expectations, and self sabotage. I know what works. Set yourself up for success, you’ll reach your goals faster when you go slower. Slow down to speed up!

What healthy changes in your life are you focusing on right now?

Take it one step and one day at a time.

Live Inspired,

Sonja.

It’s not that you need to become more disciplined.

And it’s definitely not that you need to turn wellness into another job.

The real shift starts when you stop treating your body, your energy, and your health like they can wait.
