Costa Rica Vacation Review

76Sonja’s Adventure Vacations

So fun you forget it’s good for you!

There were so  many highlights that it’s difficult to decide what to share here. Everything was amazing including the weather, the food, and all the adventurous activities!

The guides and staff were so genuine and enthusiastic, they are there to make your experience truly wonderful. Anything you want to do in Nosara is ‘at your feet’. A woman from Safari Surf School even baked us each mini carrot cakes and put them in the suite mini-fridges, so when we first arrived we had a little gift to enjoy – best carrot cake ever! How thoughtful! On our first day there, Casa Tucan found out it was one of my client Francie’s birthday, they secretly baked her an amazing banana bread cake with chocolate icing and brought it out to her after we had dinner! Costa Ricans are beyond friendly and the people in Nosara will forever be in my heart.

We did a hike the first morning to a waterfall called Mala Noche with 2 surf instructors from Safari Surf School. It was a beautiful beginning054 to our trip and we enjoyed splashing around on our own in the pool and enjoying this amazing moment together. Shortly after we arrived at the waterfall pool about 10 boys came by, and basically put on a show for us, it was awesome! They climbed so high and dove and did flips and crazy tricks for our viewing pleasure– amazing!

Highlights definitely included our homemade cakes, the generous people, the fresh cuisine, the zipline tour, epic sunsets, the waterfall hike, relaxing massages, and the gorgeous L’Acqua Viva Resort. It was so beautiful, and the food, so fresh and REAL. It was an unforgettable experience and I’m looking forward to taking clients there for years to come!
